The Federal Line Trail

The Federal Line Trail is a long trail located in the Wilderness area between Spotsylvania County and Locust Grove, VA.  The whole trail is 7 miles long and is an out and back trail...however, there is a nice little secret loop (the pink trail) hidden inside that will loop you back to the parking area at the trail head.  The loop is just over two miles.  This was a nice short walk and great for the pup to get out and stretch her legs.
